(My First) Christmas in Japan, The Chronicles II: 24 December 2006
24th December, Sunday
I woke up at 8. The Christmas celebration at GIII Tokyo will start at 2 o’clock at the noon. But I had to do few things. Cleaning my room and finish the weekly report 
.
I was still trying to finish the weekly report when it became 11 o’clock. Actually the report is not that difficult to be done. While doing it, I watched a movie . Then I had lunch and took bath.
I left the dorm at 12.30 and reached Suidobashi at 1.30. Some people is already there decorating the the stage and altar. I helped them a bit then I sat down. At 2 o’clock Santhyn arrived. Just before the ceremony started. O ya, there I also met my friend Welly Partogi Hutagaol. He’s my friend in ITB before. He only studied in ITB for one semester and then came to Japan enter an university here. It’s been 4 years since the last time I met him. He came with his girlfriend who is also a student here in Japan.

23th December, Saturday
I woke up around 8.30 in the morning. Had few things to be done. After took a bath and cooked instant noodle for breakfast, I tried to finish my weekly report. Had to submit it before Monday morning. At 10 I went down to the dorm’s lobby. I had appointment with Santhyn and Suchada/Gibb to go to Kawasaki. I wanted to buy Christmas present for Youth Christmas Celebration that would be held in Takadanobaba that night. When I entered the lobby, the girls were not there yet. I waited about 15 minutes before they finally came. (Hey girls, be more punctual ne… ).
Before went to Kawasaki, we went to TOPOS department store near Tsurumi station. There I bought a box as the container of my Christmas present. We reached Kawasaki around 11.30. Gibb was hungry, so we had ‘an early’ lunch. We went to a ramen shop just near the station’s exit gate. The ramen’s price is quite cheap, around 390 yen (if I’m not wrong).

Halo teman-teman, selamat hari Natal!
Tadi sore aku ikut kebaktian Natal di Tokyo. Aku mau membagikan sepenggal ucapan dari pendetanya tadi:

Toshiba Corporation, Fuchu Complex
Last week, I spent six days on OJT in one of Toshiba’s site called Fuchu Complex. I’ll tell a bit about this place later. Now I’m just too tired to do it, I want to sleep first !

Tie a Tie
Tomorrow I’ll go to visit my work site for a week. Starting from Monday, I’ll have my OJT there. So, I’ll meet my boss and colleagues for the first time.
I need to tidy up. So I bought some ties. The problem is, I don’t know how to tie a tie. And as usual, I ask Mr. Google for help. I inserted keywords : how to tie a tie. And just like most cases I experienced, the nice Mr. Google gives me the answer. I follow a link which guides me to a website written by Johann-Caspar Isemer.
The site is very helpful. Good resource to learn how to tie a tie. There I learnt to tie a tie by Half Windsor Knot style.
